Insightful ideas, great conversations, and an incredible turnout—thank you, Morton Grove!

After months of collaboration, community engagement, and plan development, we’re thrilled to share the vision, policies, and concepts shaping the future of the Dempster Corridor.

On March 20, 2026, we welcomed more than 80 community members to our second workshop at the Morton Grove Civic Center. From thoughtful feedback to creative ideas, your voices are helping shape what’s next, and we couldn’t do it without you.

Attendees explored interactive boards on transportation, corridor design, and opportunity sites, and shared their input through comment cards and conversations with the team. Every comment helps us refine the plan and move closer to a Dempster Corridor that’s safer, more vibrant, and a true destination for the community.

What’s Next

Everyone is encouraged to share additional feedback on the draft recommendations through this link by April 10. Your input will help us fine-tune the plan before we pull everything together into a draft document, which we’re excited to share with the community this summer.
